autosave failed...

while typing my last topic I head an error sound and it was MPT. the error reads.

Warning: autosave failed and has bee disabled. Please:
- Review Your autosave paths
- check available diskspace & filesystem access rights
- if you are using the ITP format, ensure all instruments exist as independent .iti files

never had this problem before, I am almost convinced that I should go back to 1.18, this new version is having a lot of problems!!!!!!!!!!!

How about checking your autosave path then? My crystal ball is broken so I cannot see whether it's valid or not. Autosave was definitely not broken in any of the latest versions, so it must be something with your configuration.

Autosave still works perfectly so it's not the build.

As the alert says, go back and check those factors.

Also, keep in mind that if you're autosaving to a flashdrive, those can easily get filled up. Autosave expects there to be room on the drive your saving to....that's usually why autosave fails.

If all else fails, you'll have to wipe your registry clean of OpenMPT and reinstall....
