Howdy man,

Feedback coming atcha:.

-You have this looping bass sound with a heavy reverb on it that sounds very out of place. It's actually annoying (sorry to say). I'd suggest replacing it.

-Orchestral music needs to sound very human. Vary the volumes. For example that flute like sound in the begging should not be consistently the same volume. Let the first note be soft and each note gradually get louder.

-Get those plannings down: http://modplug.soonlabel.com/orchestra_panning.jpg

And lastly keep on tracking! Looking forward to hearing your future orchestral works.

P.S, I think the soundtrack to an old game called "Dark Reign" would be right up your alley for inspiration. You can find a couple of tracks at Grooveshark.com

Thanks for the feedback.

I never used a bass in this.  Could you tell me exactly what you're referring to?  Perhaps that sound that plays in between the vocals?

Other than that, I appreciate the feedback.  Don't be afraid to tell me what's wrong.  I've been tracking for about a year, and I'd like to believe that I'm getting better.

Sure thing man.

It's this rumble that is throughout most of the song, but it's most isolated at 15-16 seconds.

A few options could be:
If it's supposed to represent an atmosphere then I'd use a HPF EQ it or find a better sample.

Otherwise You could replace it with varying Contrabass string backing.
Or chop it out altogether.

Again these are just some options you can tinker with. You have the power to decide what works best.

Good to see more soundtrack music at the forum.
