feature request: enable/disable all 'player settings' in one

a quick and small idea for a feature, a check box on the general tab that turns on/off the 'player settings' (ie, temporarily disables bass expansion, eq, reverb, surround all in one).  im thinking like, in the setup screen player tab, it could be a check that just grays out the whole 'control' section (thus the individual options would retain there original values and states).
would be nice for switching between listening and composing, plus wouldnt have moment of confusion i have frequently: 'wow, these samples sound great... wait, arent these mono? gah!'

well, not a big deal, but the akwardness of the player settings always buged me...

Indeed a useful idea. In fact a representation of 'wet' or 'dry' in the playback. Besides the effect of the player settings, this could conclude the equalizer settings for the disabling as well.
Graying out the whole 'control' section is a bit risky imo, because e.g. output devices are involved.
