Ok, I've devised my first tuning.

It is based on the 12th root of Phi

1.618^(1/12) = a factor 1.040914

normal tuning uses 2^(1/12) or a factor of 1.059463

So the Phi tuning is decidedly narrower.

I think you will hear that it does have some musical usage in this improvisation - sorry for the pauses - it took a little thinking to calculate the transposition of the 4 note arpeggio. and I did cheat - I'm playing back double time. But it seems to work to my ears.

To be honest I'm not sure I got 11 or 12 notes per "period" - but who is counting?
