Music for driving! Get in the car and take to the highway! The pavement was laid for you, the wind has been commanded to wash over you at high speeds, and telephone poles glide past you while you sit still!

This has no modern sound to it, because it was arranged in 1987, but i never got it produced. Before MPT, before my Korg Triton, before my Korg M1, before i moved to Minneapolis, i wrote down this song based on some chord progressions i had discovered on a keyboard. I developed the whole song, but never sequenced it or recorded it on tape, though i still have the original paper it was drawn up on. Now the child can see the light of day! :D

3 VSTi's (one of them was the Korg M1 VSTi i found), 4 VST FX, a couple of samples, and a few acoustic tracks. I stuck almost completely to the original song, except for the opening, and some of the instrumentation. After completing the track in MPT, my drummer laid down her track, mostly to show off the new additions to her kit :P . And boy did she go off. She hasn't sounded this good since we did "Methane for Blood". She'd hate it if i told you i had to correct a couple of mistakes (just timing).

This also marks an engineering turning point for yours truly, because i think i've FINALLY figured out how to use a compressor effectively. This is why the song seems loud and full but does not overload your VU meter.

The link goes to the license page. Please accept my terms, and you may have it for your personal use. But we better not hear it in a commercial, in a porn flick, on the radio, at a night club, or recut and uploaded somewhere else. That would make Aeon very angry...and an angry Aeon is a quiet Aeon. If you want to share it with someone else, do ME a favor and make them come to this site to get it.... 8)

Let the arrows and bouquets commence!

UPDATE: Link above is a direct download link from TraxInSpace.com. Enjoy! :D

Enjoying. Cute bass line. Nice drive coming up at 1:41. The lead from 4:08 could be a little more on the foreground.
A very nifty, complete piece.
And you certainly have got a grip on the compression issue.

Sounds like some powerful U2 single, i like it Harbinger. It's good for driving, also for background listening while working, doesn't distracts the listener, but entertains the ear.
I'm also glad for your success with the compressor technology. =)
I'm as calm as a synth without a player.  (Sam_Zen)
