I've run a series of tests about the playing of most common formats, audio and video, by different apps :

Nice page. Maybe you can add links to the apps' website. You made me interested in KM player :)

Although XMPlay is pretty good, KM player seems to play a bit more (especially video's.)

EDIT: typo fixed. Not KA, but KM. :)

"yes.. I think in this case it was wishful thinking: MPT is makng my life hard so it must be wrong" - Rewbs

So far I deliberately chose not to use any sub-link on this page.
If one wants to checkout downloads or apps' websites, I placed the button to my Links-page at the bottom.

XMPlay is my associated sound-player, and I was quite pleased when finding the KMPlayer (KA ?) in my
search for an independent player of the FLV format. Then it turned out to be quite versatile.
Maybe 'too much' even. I still haven't checked all options because of the huge amounts of menu-items.

Again about adding links, etcetera :
I've placed this page on 5 different forums, and got quite some reactions with all kinds of suggestions.
So I first want to gather this, before I consider adjustments of this page.

Made some corrections. Replaced 'Moyager' by 'SMPlayer'.
Made the page more accessible for screenreaders.

Further 'remix' of the page.
Removed the SWF format, because it wasn't really a video.
Added a package with the formats used in this test:

Still a 'beta' because I want some files shorter and smaller.
Regarding the related app-links, I've decided not to do that.
At the bottom of the page is the button to my links-page, where all websites, and much downloads can be found.

Updated the page and planning to add a test about playing multichannel audio, in this case Quad, so far with 3 short testfiles.
