The funny thing is that I've never heard anything from Tangerine Dream =)))
Could it be that such music is just the way some people look at the world?

I didn't mean so much some musical comparison, but more a specific technique, which I've
used a lot too in those analog days.

No sequencer used here, but a 'synth sequence' is running (it already starts earlier, at 2:00 btw),
with an echo repeat behind it, which is perfectly synced in between the notes, so creates a
suggestion of double speed.

Yep, I used arpeggiator sequences from Sytrus VST - played 'em into a wave file and then mixed it all together.
