Hi there,

Does anybody know a good way to calculate BPM for IT-files (Impulse Tracker) based on Tempo and Speed?

Yes, the formulas are specified in the manual: https://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Song_Properties#Tempo_Mode

Please keep in mind that these are approximations. Due to the way tempo is calculated in legacy trackers like IT and FT2, the exact BPM will differ due to rounding errors when computing the duration of a tick, and can even differ depending on the mix rate (e.g. marginally different BPM depending on whether you render at 44100 Hz or 48000 Hz).
