Title: [beta] Pattern loop
Post by: Sam_Zen on March 12, 2006, 01:48:47
Is there a keyboard shortcut for enable/disable Pattern loop in the Pattern tag ?
Or a way to make one ?

Hi, you'll need to bind a key to that function in the keyboard config window. The context can be found here (search for "Toggle loop pattern" and scroll up to see the context):

(the wiki was not available at the moment, but I checked the kb config)
Thanks. I assigned Ctrl-Shift-L to it and it worked. But appears to be not very stable during playback.
Disabling the loop leads to an unwanted jump in the pattern row of four or more places to continue playing.

Does this only happen when you use the keyboard short cut?

I've been using the 'pattern loop' constantly with a key shortcut(ctrl+space in my case) without such problems - the only problem I'm aware of is that when using mod command 'pattern jump', unreleasing pattern loop can cause instant jumps.
