I don't know, may be it's very stupid idea. But sometime i'm think about this...
The midi-protocol is the most standart and have an features and flexibility.
So, if to developing cross-format of tracker music?
As one side it playing as simple midi-partiture in any players. But in the special player it loud as realy tracker mod-file!
So, in most players unknown tags in midi-streame are ignored. But in special player this tags is defined any samples and instrument, patterns and envelopes...
Format must be to CIL-programming for samples and synthez featured, because programmers can to feel free in this!
May be somebody this idea are ignored as fool.
