I used to be able to find archives of instruments by searching Google for "Impulse Tracker instruments" but now I can find nothing. I have thousands of dollars worth of top notch quality VSTis that I could get samples from, but this is for someone else who is just starting out with OpenMPT that I was teaching how to use the program. Any of you know any decent or good archives of ITI/XI/etc. files for them to start with?
Have a look at the sample topic (http://forum.openmpt.org/index.php?topic=174.0) and at the ModArchive torrent tracker (http://tracker.modarchive.org/) - we have torrents for the old Waveworld and KIArchive collections there, which are two decent collections of all kinds of samples suitable for tracker music.
