Space Walk has won the first round of the Barryvan Compo. His entry, "The Depth" (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=21) narrowly beat Nygen Dale (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=19) and Nahkranoth (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=20)'s tracks. Congratulations, Space Walk! And thanks to all the other entrants, too. There were some really hot entries.
The Barryvan Compo is changing.
I think that a two-month turnaround is just too long. So I've changed it to a month-long compo: two weeks of entries, and two weeks of voting. Once again, entry is open to anyone who's interested for this round. Check it out at http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo). This month's inspiration is a photo taken by Karloskarmi (http://flickr.com/photos/karloskar/40790049/):
You can write whatever you like around this image. (Thanks to Novus for the suggestion to use a photo!)
I hope to see you all there. And once again, congratulations to Space Walk!
Man! That's a nice repeat! On this photo I can clearly see some water, and a bunch of jumblies in a sieve :D
And I really like how you changed the look of the site.
Maybe it's not right to say it here but I voted for aGp on 1st place cuz he's the only one who have read (and maybe understood?) the poem right (as for me). Aww, now I'll go babbling about the past. Forgive the old fool :D
LOL! I didn't even think about the Jumblies in a Sieve connection! :) Oh well.
Glad you like the new look of the site. :)
thanks for running the compo - it was fun, may it continue for many years to come :D
i'll try and enter something again this month :)
I think all entries were number one!
A picture, nice. I copied the big version. I'll see what I can do.
Excellent, thanks everyone. :) I look forward to the entries from here. :)
CLARIFICATION: Anyone is free to enter the compo. You do not have to have voted, entered, sent me money, danced the polka, stroked my hair, or given me a footrub to enter. Anyone can enter (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo).

Who stroked your hair?
Quote from: "LPChip"Who stroked your hair?
That was me. I mis-read the rules, and Barry felt guilty about it afterwards. Hence the clarification.

Yeah. Although I must admit, Novus is a pretty good hair-stroker. My underarms never felt so good!

Wait... that was your ARMPIT hair?
Hahahahaha, good one guys! :D
UPDATE: There are now only two days left to enter! Get your entries in!
Voting is open!
Three very, very different tracks are competing for your votes in this round:
- Sam_Zen's sounds derived from the bitmap (http://tinyurl.com/5jj2yz);
- Space Walk's Secrets of Maya (http://tinyurl.com/5mzhp9); and
- aGp's No Way Back (http://tinyurl.com/5b27at).
Download 'em by using the links above, or head over to the voting page (http://tinyurl.com/5adb5k) and read what the artists have to say about them, then cast your vote!
It's sure to be a close competition, so make your vote count!
Only one week left to vote in for the Barryvan Compo! Head over to the site (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/) and cast your vote!
Less than 24 hours of voting left!
...And I'm still desperately short of votes! C'mon - get your votes in, and make your voice heard!
The Barryvan Compo (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/)
The results are in!
In an incredibly close set of results, Space Walk (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=25) has just managed to nose into the lead with 16 points, followed closely by aGp (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=26) (14 points), who is in turn followed just as closely by Sam_Zen (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=24) (12 points). Congratulations to all three!
Round Three Open!
Round three is now officially open! The inspiration this round is actually a short extract from a piece of music - Bach's Little Fugue in G Minor (BWV 578). You can do whatever you like to this - remix it, use snatches of it here and there, mathematically derive stuff from it, anything! It's an inspiration, not a restriction.
It's available as an image (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=file&id=1), a MIDI file (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=file&id=2), an MP3 (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=file&id=3), and an IT (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=file&id=4).
Happy composing, and be sure to get your entries in by the 15th of May!
Great, Barry!
Nice concept with those four representations. Quite inspirational.
Aww, crap! I've just noticed that the compo is over and I forgot to vote!!!
aGp, you get my unofficial vote nonetheless :D That's a $###load of work you've done!
thank you for your unnofficial vote nahkranoth ^_^ im hoping u remember and have time to enter and vote next round!
two weeks off school meant i had a bit more time for writing :D
and btw barryvan, if this is easy to implement (don't bother if it's not :p) then i think it would be pretty nifty for the artist's to see the voters' comments (kinda like the soundevotion compo, but maybe only show the comments after the voting deadline because results are influenced by them imo) as feedback is always very good.
Nice idea, aGp. When I have time, I'll put in an extended view of each set of results, which shows the full inspiration and the (anonymised) comments. It's all sitting there in the database... :)
BTW, I've fixed the RSS feed now - for some reason it wasn't working before, so it should be easier to keep track of what's happening with the compo.
Only five days left to enter! (And no entries yet...:()
Enter now! (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/)
Honestly, I wanted to enter and even began writing, but I ended just copying the whole damn thing and I can't add nothing more no matter how I try. That fugue is so beautiful I even don't want to. Perhaps 15 days is not enough for the compo? (for me?)
Due to popular demand, I've made the entry period for the contest three weeks, and the voting period one week. This means that for round three, the deadline for entry is now the 22nd of May.
If any of the entrants so far would like to resubmit their entries, they are free to do so - just send me an email.
One week left to enter (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo)!
Site to upload was hacked again so I present my second submission here.
It's again a mix of bitmap to sound conversion plus samples with the module format.
The bitmap source is a modulation too of graphic material.
The composed sound can be found here (http://www.louigiverona.com/webarchive/samzen/download/oggs/bvc3_fuga2_4_mix.ogg)
Thanks S_Z. I've amended your entry in the database to use your updated file and description. Is the title still the same, or would you like me to change that?
It's not meant to be an updated file, but as a second entry.
The title of the first one is "Fugz", of the second one "Fuga 4".
Oh, I see. Unfortunately, I can only allow one entry per person, Sam_Zen. :( So you'll have to choose which one you want to enter. Let me know which. Sorry that I didn't make that clearer to start with.
No problem. Then I choose the first one.
Only two days left to enter, and I've only got two entries! :(
Argh! Only 2 days left :( It makes me feel so uncomfortable. Hate those time limits
Yep, me too, but come on friend, you can do it.. :)
3 weeks isn't enough for a serious, finetuned production most of the time.
So one could consider the entry as a basic sketch, a raw model, a maquette of the real building.
What a week! Yesterday my PS/2 died in the middle of work. It seems easier to buy a new USB one today than to fix that crappy port. That's why I'm definitely gonna miss the deadline this time. I'm not asking for more time, it's just an excuse for myself for not being productive :D
So I decided to put off this track for some time, maybe it is better that way. It's the fate people.
Barry, maybe you should extend the deadline to another full compo time, so people have twice as much time.
@Nahkranoth: Oh, that's sad to hear. :( I hope you get everything sorted out.
@LPChip: I think I might go back to the original two-month period for the compo from the next round (although perhaps with six weeks of composing and two weeks of voting). If that still fails to attract enough entries, I guess I'll have to close it down. :'(
Quote from: "bvanoudtshoorn"I guess I'll have to close it down. :'(
Maybe try to attract some people from outside of ModplugCentral?
It seems that f.e. this SpaceWalk guy is "from outside", so there can be others!
It's just too calm here at MPC.
Or we're getting close to summer :D
Well, I'm quite active at Trax In Space (that's where Space Walk comes from), and I advertise there, at CTG, at MadTracker, and at Renoise... :?
People just seem to be less interested in compo's.
I was thinking for a way to solve this problem, but I guess that doesn't really help for your competition.
Anyway the idea is: you have a compo and ofcource someone wins. The number 2 and 3 can get a second chance in the next round, so you always have 2 additional songs. If you miss entries, you could even add more from previous rounds.
Perhaps you apply a formula to those entries: eg. their votes will get only 80% weight.
Also you could have the ability to allow for multiple entries by one person with optional their choise which one weights less than the other.
So when they submit 2 songs, they have to specify which one goes for the 100%, the rest weights less. If that song gets better votes, then its bad luck XD
That way, Sam_Zen can have his other entry for this round, but votes for that song will only weight 80% which gives it less chance to win, but if its really good it could still win.
Example:
Song A who weights 100% gets 5 votes
Song B who weights 80% gets 11 votes.
11 * 80% = 8,8 votes.
That means that Song B would win it from Song A.
If however Song A would have 9 votes, then Song A would win, even if song B has 11 votes.
Hmm... That's quite an interesting idea you've got there, LP. Although you're right - it won't work on themed compos. :( But I like it. Perhaps MPC should start a scene-wide compo based on this idea - something to fill the void left by the Novus compo, perhaps.
In terms of implementing, it wouldn't be too hard (within the framework I've built up). It's just a matter of implementing an interface so that when it's asked to retrieve songs / votes / whatever it does it according to your specifications... (http://sourceforge.net/projects/barryvancompo for a not quite up to date version.)
I wonder if there'd be interest in such a compo.
just putting finishing touches to my rather rushed entry.
maybe you should enter yourself barry?
Edit: Entered. Not entirely happy with it, but it'll do (=
The construction by LP looks nice, but Barry's right, the re-entry of previous ones doesn't fit if the compo is scene-related.
And aGP has a point too. Yep, why no adding an entry yourself, Barry ? :)
A variation of LP's concept about a second entry from one author could be, that the author defines own entries in a certain order.
So f.e. the 2nd entry is A, getting 100%, first entry is B, getting 80%.
But I keep some doubts about this validation. If I enter a second entry, I don't do this to increase my chances of winning.
It's just, that I have a second idea of how to deal with the material.
As soon as a piece is published, it's the song that scores, not the author.
OT: About the term "compo". Before I found this forum, I used this word as a short one for 'composition'.
Then I found out that on the MPF the term was used to indicate a 'contest'.
So now I'll have to be aware of the difference.
Voting is now open for round three of the Barryvan compo (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo). There are four fantastic tracks for you to download and vote on:
=> Fugz (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=29), by Sam_Zen;
=> Retallion Theme (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=30), by Space Walk;
=> A little fun in G Minor (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=31), by aGp; and
=> Bach (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=32), by Frans Witting.
Head over to the voting page (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/?page=vote) to cast your vote!
Only 24 hours left to get your votes in! Head over to compo page (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo) to cast your votes on some really good tracks.
The results are in!
The votes for the third round of the Barryvan compo have been tallied, and the results are in.
First Place - Retallion Theme (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=30) by Space Walk (who has won every time so far!)
Second Place - Bach (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=32) by Frans Witting (aka 8ism)
Third Place - A little fun in G minor (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=31) by aGp
Fourth Place - Fugz (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=29) by Sam Samshuijzen.
Congratulations to Space Walk!
Round Four Open!
And with that, round four is now open for entry. The inspiration for this round is a photo taken in South Africa:
Round Four Deadlines
I've moved back to the longer two-month period for the compo now. This means that you have longer to write your tracks, and longer to vote on them.
Entry Deadline: 12th July, 2008
Voting Deadline: 28th July, 2008
A remark :
On your page with the Storms' River photo it says :
'You can download the full size image here.'
But the link shows a bitmap with the same size as on the page.
Oops! Thanks for picking that up, Sam_Zen. It should be fixed now.
Notification: Offtopic part has been split to a new topic.
A sensible split, LPChip.
Just two days left to get your entries in!
Enter now! (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo)
One week to vote on the two entrants for this round: Water will flow everywhere, by Clones, and David's Song, by Jay Ridley. Head over to the compo (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/) page to vote on these two fantastic tracks!
I did. Quite difficult indeed, because of the high quality of both entries.
Thanks for voting, Sam_Zen! :)
Wow, almost forgot to vote!
Less than twenty-four hours left to vote (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/?page=vote)! C'mon people -get your votes in! :D
And thanks to all those who already have, like Nahkranoth.
My vote's in. Will enter next round. (=
Excellent! Thanks, aGp!
Clones took out the previous round with his track Water will flow everywhere (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/getFile.php?type=entry&id=34). Congratulations, Clones!
The next round is now open. The inspiration for this round is the main theme from Elgar's Enigma variations. Header over to the compo (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/?) to take a look at the score and download it in various formats. Good luck!
If the term 'Enigma' is involved, it's enough to me to be intriguing. So I'm planning to participate.
I've re-"furnished" my new system so far, to be able to work with sound again.
That's fantastic, Sam_Zen! I look forward to hearing what you come up with. Glad you've got a working system back up, too.
Thanks Barry - but I just entered to try to bulk up the field for the compo.
Considering there were only two entries it is a well.... mild acomplishment.
But it IS the first compo I have ever one. So now I can say I won one.
Barry - any idea if the review compo is still alive?
I saw that promise for the winner of the next round but Tricky has yet to answer my question about the round I won.
It actually would be an interesting excercise to be reviewed by people on this song because I did't expect Water Will Flow Everywhere to be of real interest to anyone but me.
Well, still, congratulations on winning, clones. :)
To be honest, I have absolutely no idea about whether the review compo is still alive. It sort of went by the by with the whole Space Walk palaver at TiS... :/
Just delivered my contribution on the Enigma Variation theme.
Thanks Sam_Zen! I didn't have access to my site until now, so I wasn't able to confirm it. But I have now. :)
Again, thanks for entering.
Ten days to enter!
Come on people - ten days left to enter the competition, and I've only got one entry! Enter Now! (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo)
Well, maybe I will be the winner this time, due to lack of competitors.. :)
I want to write something for the compo but atm my musics suck so much...
Damn, when it will end? Gotta stop playing with those synths and make something worth keeping :)
I might enter a song too. :)
Depends if I can make something or not in just 10 days. :)
Awesome! :) Bear in mind that I won't speak to either of you again if you don't, Nahkranoth & LP. :P Just kidding! If you can come up with something, that'd be great, though.
QuoteDamn, when it will end? Gotta stop playing with those synths and make something worth keeping
Practising is always neccessary for developing your technical expression and quality, you will feel when you are ready to make something worthwhile for your expectations.
...and most of all, sound engineering is fun! =)

What, you speak to us now? :o
EDIT: I just read in the rules that you need to have voted in a previous round in order to participate. If you're okay with me voting in a future compo as compromise, I'll still try to come up with something. :)
ok Barry.... for me its speed composing.
I'll toss in my hat
@LP: No, you don't have to have voted before - that wasn't really working. I meant to take that line out - thanks for reminding me.
NOTICE: You don't have to have voted to be able to enter!
@Clones: Awesome! I look forward to it. :)
http://soonlabel.com/b/YaBB.pl?num=1220437059/0
I'll post it in the music forum as well
Nice to see an Enigma machine there.
Surprisingly enough, I actually came up with something. I now have a song of 3 minutes something that also has an ending. :D
So you can count on my entry. I will still have to see if I can improve it, which I'll do this weekend.
Awesome! I look forward to it, LP! :)
2 Barry
New additions available, so I searched for them. To apply a vote.
It was a while ago, so I first checked the basic URL http://www.barryvan.com.au/
I was not able to navigate to a part with the compo contest.
After some digging in my archive I came up with http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/ to serve things right.
But the link to "Entries so far: 2 - Read more..." doesn't work (Firefox running).
Heya Sam_Zen. You won't be able to vote until the 12th of September, I'm afraid - I like to collect all of the entries before I open up voting. That way, people who enter at the last possible minute aren't disadvantaged. :)
And sorry about not having a link on my www.barryvan.com.au website - I've corrected that now. There's now a news item about the competition, and a link under "Other" in the menu. Thanks for pointing that out!
Yep. My expression was not right. I was trying to search for the entries to listen to. Apart from casting a vote.
Ah, sorry. Yeah, unfortunately you can't listen to them until you can vote on them, either. ;)
Should have known.

I have an intro only. But it's damn good!
However I always tend to like my pieces (of crap) :D
Well, if it's damn good, come over the bridge with it :)
An intro can be a seperate work as well. As could be an outro.
Yeah - you should enter it! :)

was I not to have posted my entry ?
Nah, Clones, that's fine! Don't worry about it. :) It's your entry - you can do with it what you will.
Did you've got my entry Barry?
As LPChip stated, this is maybe the confusion this time.
I remember getting a mail:
Thanks for entering the Barryvan Compo! Your entry is now in the running to compete in this month's round.
There was no such confirmation this time afaik.
Yep, thanks for entering, LP! And thanks for reminding me about the confirmation emails, S_Z - I've now sent them out. :)
I hope I'm not late, uploading now! Will enter asap.
I guess the deadline is set till tomorrow?
After 3 hours of hellish f#ckage I still can't upload anything anywhere! AARGH!!!
I won't forgive myself if I'm gonna miss the deadline
How big is the tune?
4,5 mb. After it's got finally uploaded i get the error message about wrong picture code. I'm sure I typed it right. Maybe something's wrong with my connection, I almost gave up
[EDIT] The problem is I can't re-upload. With any browser.
Hey Nahkranoth - if you can email me the track, I can put it up on my server for you. Or if you could put it up on a google page, or anywhere that I can get at it, I'll put it up on my server. :)
And yeah, LP, the deadline is still tomorrow. Chicago time, because I haven't bothered putting in a time offset yet. :D
What a dumbass I am! I never even thought of sending by email :D
But right now I'm trying uploading to sendspace. So far the process seems to move. If everything is OK I will enter the track to the compo with sendspace link. And if you can host it at compo site, then I would be forever grateful, maybe call my son Barry. Just joking :D
Just forty hours left to enter! Five entries so far, with room for more!

Transport by email is only an emergency solution, because the attachment will increase 50 % in size due to coding.
So still better to look for an accessible free host on the web, so you'll just have to mail the link.

You could be right. I didn't kept track of these developments.
Well, so far if choosing 'download and vote' at http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/?page=vote
I get a dialog to enter another compo, with the message 'Voting closed'..
Just two and a half hours until you can start voting as I write this. :) The competition is running at GMT-5 time; at some stage, I'll either change this to plain GMT, or GMT+8 (my timezone).
Voting is open!
You can now go cast your vote (http://tinyurl.com/barryvan-vote) at the Barryvan Compo. There are six fantastic tracks to vote on:

Thanks to all six entrants this round - you've all written great tracks. :)
Well, quite difficult, 6 quite different tracks is a lot to judge.
As music , I like the track by DeeJyoo maybe the most, but I don't see any connection with the compo theme.
It's a pity for the resolution, that the choice is only upto the third.
Voted.
Just a notification to everyone.
27th of september is the deadline for voting.
If you're not planning to vote for me, disregard the next message  j/k
Don't forget to vote, and even if you haven't participated, there are 6 great tracks waiting to be heard. Voting for them is just a matter of a few clicks anyway.
Only 4 days left!
I voted as well
Thanks to all those who've voted so far.
And the rest of you - as LP suggests, get a move on! :)
I guess voting is closed now? Who has won?
And the results are in! :)

Official Results
1st Place - DeeKyoo - Cross the line (20pts, 6 votes for first)
2nd Place - LPChip - Enigma Intensity (20pts, 3 votes for first)
3rd Place - Clones - Enigma (15pts)
4th Place - Nahkranoth - Kadath (14pts)
5th Place - aGp - She was an enigma (9pts)
6th Place - Sam_Zen - Var plus (6 pts)
It was an incredibly good round this time. All six entries were phenomenal. You see, running this compo is purely selfish - I just want to get good music out of it! :D
Congratulations to all the entrants, and especially DeeKyoo and LP, who managed to equal each other in points. DeeKyoo takes the win, though, with more votes for first. As you can see, the entire competition was very closely fought. Congrats and thanks to Clones, Nahkranoth, aGp, and Sam_Zen as well.
The next round will begin soon, once I've got everything finalised. Here's a hint, though: "If you go down to the woods today..."
Quote from: "bvanoudtshoorn""If you go down to the woods today..."

Round 6 Begins!
For round 6, the inspiration is a classic children's song - "If you go down to the woods today". :) It's available in a whole bunch of formats (IT, OpenMPT, MIDI, PDF, PNG) on the competition website (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo), so head over and start writing!
Dates for Round 6 (tentative)

Voting period: 11th November -- 26th November
I think LPChip is the winner, since DeeKyoo's track has nothing to do with the inspiration. Just wanted to say that.
[EDIT]
I can get no (ta-da-da...) Inspiration! (ta-da-da)... :D
I just can't download them. Maybe Barry just uploading?
If I would go down the woods today, I would find large areas of cut trees, to make plantations to produce palm oil.
To feed the fuel engines of SUV's.
EDIT
Couldn't download either, except for the shown picnic bitmap.
Sorry! Guess that'll teach me to check my links... All fixed now. :)
somber song - I've not heard this one before.
Links work. I think it's a bit poor to have a bitmap with the note-score as source for inspiration.
This is more a prescription than an inspiration.
It's just a graphic representation of the music. Since those notes mean nothing to me I rather have my inspiration from the sound. Gladly there are multiple sources to listen to. And it already worked for me - I feel more than inspired  Can't wait to finish the daily routine work and put them notes down in tha tracker :D

How do you mean, Sam_Zen? It's the same technique that I've used in many of the previous rounds... I'm not trying to prescribe anything - I just want to represent the inspiration in as many different ways as I possibly can, so that it's as universal as possible. In other words, I want people who can't read notation to be able to see it in a tracker/sequencer, and those who don't use a tracker to be able to listen to in an MP3/MIDI file, and so on. :)
@Nahkranoth: I'm glad that you're already feeling inspired. :D Can't wait to hear what you come up with.
2 Barry
Never mind. I was in a mood to nag about something, I guess.
Only four days left to get your entries in!
Enter now! (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/)
I hope this time I'll finish my track BEFORE the deadline. As always I've got an interesting intro and everything else is crap :D
No entries at all  I don't want tho be the only one, there must be someone else to compete! (Not that I like competitions, but it's not fair  )
C'mon, Nahkranoth, I'm sure you can beat me.. :)
ack - I can't make his one Barry - sorry!
I had planned on it - too many things occurred.....
But you have more entries this time?
Don't worry about not making it. :)
So far, I have three entries.
And guess what happened to me on Friday after my last post here:
My motherboard got f***d up! Somehow it can't find my video card, which is working fine for sure. Today I'll see what's really causing the problem (I took the whole box with me to where I bought it). But it will be in the late evening and I don't know when it will be fixed. So no entry from me, Barry.
Ahh, what a wonderful weekend! :cry_fists:
Tell you what, Nahkranoth -- if you still want to enter, I'll accept a late entry from you. Just PM/email me. :)
I just hope they will fix the damned thing soon, 2-3 days max I think. For now I'll have to wait.
Thanks, Barry, I'll try to enter if there is still time.
Barry - extension?
Honestly I'd could use some R&R and your compo is a good reason.
Been really busy.
Well, I can't just extend it, 'cos I've already got a vote or two... Tell you what, though. Send me an email with your entry (and any comments you want included), and I'll put it through for this round as well. All it means is that you might miss a few voters' ears; probably not many, 'cos nearly everyone waits until the last possible moment to vote. :)
Ok, thanks!
Barry,
Look at the name of the place in the picture.... look familiar?
http://archaeology.about.com/cs/humanorigins/a/klasiesriver.htm
it is a very old place for humans and you used it for a compo.
Heh - that's cool. :) I didn't realise.
Vote, vote, vote, vote! Vote, vote, vote, vote!
Vote! (http://test.pbc.wa.edu.au/compo/)
:D
You want us to vote 9 times? :o
Well, you can try... :D
Quote from: "bvanoudtshoorn"Well, you can try... :D
And what if each vote is different from the previous one?
Well, if I suspect something, I can look at
a) the times,
b) the webserver logs,
c) you, meaningfully.

So? You ask me to vote 9 times, and then you suspect something? weird ::)
Twenty hours left to vote! Get your votes in as soon as possible.
