Nothing lost
Nothing gained
no matter how hard you look
it all still looks the same
Mike and I recorded this in 1980 - and Norm kindly added percussion.
Ice9 provided the song icon - I did add some plasma and a shadow - hope you don't mind Bill. Please excuse where the voices get a bit out of tune at one point.

Nice 'glassy' sounds there.
Thanks for the listen and comment. I'll ask norm what instrument that is.
They sound like little sticks on strings like a wind chime The brush strokes I liked a lot, as well as the 'little extra' beats thrown in at random (dun remember musical term for that).
On the singing, I didn't hear anything really out of tune. You guys sounded good!
Thanks for the listen and comment!
Sam - if it is the same sound residentgrey is referring to that's a bell tree I'm almost certain.
If it's called a bell tree, then I made one myself with a collection of mainly bicycle bells :

you can get an idea of Norm's set up from this picture. I'm thinking his bell tree - perhaps the wrong name - is towards the top right of center.

Norm's percussion corner looks great ..
I love the gong - nothing else is like a gong!
You're quite right. A main example of a ringmodulated sound ..!
