Is there a quick and easy way to trigger any given pattern number using your keyboard in ModPlug (I.E. q->pattern 0 w->pattern 1 e-> pattern 2..)? I'd like to configure my keyboard/external keyboard to trigger a specific pattern on any given keystroke/note.

No, there isn't. Sounds like something that should be easily doable once there is scripting support, though... If it's of any help, there is a "go to" dialog, though, where you can quickly jump to any given pattern. That won't help with external MIDI keyboards, though..
Interesting idea. I might have suggested this as a feature request myself if I had thought of it.
