Anyone else care to test?
Well, that plugin causes a heap corruption whenever effClose is called (also in other hosts), which even breaks exception handling... Don't know if anything could be done about that. They are old and buggy plugins.
Also, first search result for "SideChComp crash":

Though I wouldn't advise doing that, so better avoid the plugin altogether.
Ok, thanks for the advise. I'll find some other plugin.
Well, it's not like you could use it in OpenMPT directly anyway, as it requies 4 inputs for sidechaining while OpenMPT just provides 2.
I cant get SideKick v3 from your homepage to run either. Can anyone else also try it out?

Everytime someone said it isn't working, they didn't install the VC2005 runtime.
I have :)
edit: I'll try to restart.
If it still doesn't run, load the DLL into Dependency Walker (http://www.dependencywalker.com/) and find out if any more referenced DLLs are missing.
Thanks for the tip on dependency walker, installing vc2005 runtime for both x64 and x86 didnt help, I had to follow this guide here: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/fix-msvcp71-dll-and-msvcr71-dll-missing-error-in-windows-7/
This also helps for the blueline plugins that I have written about before.

Glad to hear that Dependency Walker was able to solve your problems. It's usually the first tool for me to use when a plugin refuses to work in more than one host.
