Title: substain loops and note offs not working
Post by: moltres_rider on July 20, 2012, 22:05:36
I have an issue with one of my modules!!! I am using "Substain loops" and "Note Offs" but yet the note completely stops at each note off rather than continuing the instrument until the end!!! can someone help me figure this one out???

I have attached the module I am having issues with...

the module seems to be too large for this forum to accept it, so I will just link to it...

Every is working as expected with this module:
- Every instrument has very short volume envelopes which cut the sample almost instantly after the sustain point is exited.
- All sample sustain loops are very short (just a few milliseconds long), meaning that of course you won't hear a lot of audio after the note-off.

PS: OpenMPT Is not a MIDI editor.

I know that!!! I just experiment with midis in it and/or change a certain instrument to a wav file (such as a cat meow) to make a cat song... but lately, I have been using Pokémon sounds...

I was merely experimenting with the sound using midi in this...
