Do we really need two topics for this?

Kinda on-topic, I recently found this tiny module release group that released some fine DnB ITs around the year 2000: http://plannine.50megs.com/
u4ia (http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_artist_modules&query=69242) made some great DnB stuff too.

That was a reply to the original poster, who already opened an identical thread.

Why look for lost stuff when there's plenty of good stuff on ModArchive and other archives to be discovered? I pretty much upload all the lost old gems that I can unearth to ModArchive anyway, so once I found it, it's on ModArchive a day later (including the plan9 stuff from my earlier post).

On a side note I thought I would share this... They're Hardcore Techno and Gabba modules I haven't found anywhere else (yet). The USP ones are particularly gooood! Lots of unique samples to play with?  :o

Sorry to hijack your post Inkwisitor. But I was wondering if anyone had some Spyefex mods they may have saved from back in the day? He made some wicked stuff on Modplug. I can't find his mods anywhere now. Cheers. :)

Inkwisitor, thanks for the message mate, I'm a little busy right now. But if you read the MOD FAQ link, you can see me listed in mod tracker history. Back then I went by another handle name. I released two songs made using Impulse Tracker. Those two songs made me infamous😏 my current handle is just a cover to my real handle  :P  I will give you my group name to see if you can find the two songs. This group name was stolen by so called name thieves. But I know the true owner  8)

Look for : TRANCEMATRIX

With that you will know my true handle.

Cheers Fatarse ;)

While I have the occasional drum and bass cd I'm not a huge fan of that genre...but I do like Trance, Techno, Hardcore and a little bit of lollipop music. These days I'm making more uplifting trance and techno with a little happy hardcore on the side. ;D :P now all my huge music collection is now digital!  8) :o

No , because as I said I'm very busy, im lucky I get any time out to write forum messages at all. Maybe in a few months time I might be able too , but don't hold your breathe my collection is not online. I doubt it will be for the foreseeable future. Besides most of the mods are online so you might have to trawl those sites to get the samples you want for your drum and bass.

Your point was there there were not enough sites where you could find the DnB stuff you were looking for. Maybe to make this world a better place, you could go and create your own list of good stuff - not necessarily here, but e.g. on a blog or something. This way, people with similar musical taste as yours would have an easier time.
This is more or less how ModArchive started - kind of an elitist archive only containing some best personal picks, but obviously it has changed over the years.

Also, please be civilized, you two.

Sorry to hear you can't find anything you like, but in the end just like I did, you must trawl every site or BBS (if any still exist with mods etc on them?). You must remember many of us would have spent years collecting these tunes and years of money downloading these same tunes and what not else. I believe you would have to do the same. I see you are very particular about what you want. So someone's tastes may not be the same as yours as you found out with with herodatas mini collection he or she offered you. If you don't like something about current drum and bass then change it and make your own tunes and show the world what it should sound like! There is no easy way ....you must do the hard yards if you really want something.
