Title: Chord Editing in MPT?
Post by: Harbinger on July 04, 2009, 22:59:53
Need some supplemental information for the manual, and a search in the forums yielded nothing usable.

How are chords entered and used in MPT? What does the Chord Editing key shortcut do exactly and how do i use it?

(A link to previously posted  information will also help.)

I don't know exactly what's your problem, please be a bit more specific.
Chord shortcuts can be edited in the chord editor, and the chord modifier key is Shift by default. So if you hit Shift + "c-5 key", you will get the chord that has been assigned to "c-5" before.

EDIT: oh, and multichannel recording has to be enabled of course. shift-click a channel header to enable multichannel recording for this channel.

:o Oh, i see! Modifier as in the key, not the modifier of the chord! Gotcha!
