Most of it is in refill format but there are a lot of wav packs too. The 50 ethnic drums pack is nice.

EDIT: have any of the mods considered stickying this or a similar sample topic? I think it's definitely along the same lines as the VST threads, if not even more important as .wav samples make full use of the pattern effects.

Very near the end/bottom of the page are a few links for a free/demo version of Titan along with it's unlimited ENGINE -- with which one can add up to 24 of their own samples (per layer... according to the page, anyway.. I've not tried doing so yet).  TITAN is an analog synth virtual instrument, and the free demo includes 12 royalty-free sounds.  ENGINE also has some decent effects included for those like me who love tweaking sounds and whatnot. :)

While TITAN itself is a YellowTools virtual instrument (the full version is $259 USD) available via soundsonline (EastWest/Quantum Leap) I'm not certain the connection to YellowTools... but the ENGINE software is *NOT* part of, nor does it require, EWQL's PLAY engine; and the VST version of ENGINE runs fine in OMPT in my own (as yet limited..) testing.  I'll likely even use it in a song I'm currently working on.. it's got a nice analog Percussion-Chimes sound. :)

Rekkerd a sorti  Rekkerd Sound Recordings Vol. 2

QuoteEver since recording some sounds a few years ago, I've been meaning to take the trusty Zoom H2 for another round. I finally took the time to capture another batch of ordinary, and perhaps some less ordinary sounds.

For Rekkerd Sound Recordings Vol. 2 I found a number of interesting objects to hit, drop, slide, slam, press, etc. After a good amount of editing the pack ended up containing 90 samples. Various noises produced by light switches, fans, drawers, and lots more included.

The samples are in 24-bit/44kHz WAV format. Plenty of background noise is included, and those with a good ear might spot one of my kids in some of the recordings. 100% high quality lo-fi!

So why did I record these sounds? Well, I personally love create rhythms/percussions with unusual sounds so I figure I'm not the only one. Also included in the pack is a number of such loops that I did exclusively using the recorded sound and and a bunch of processing. You can listen to those loops below.

The original plan was to record some bits from a SID 6581 this time, but my old C64 died literally 5 minutes after I plugged it in. However, I did manage to get ahold of a C64G, which was sampled for one of the instruments in this sample pack (the BASIC Bass patch, pictured below). C64G also has a SID 8580 installed, but they do say that every SID chip is different, so there's still a bit of variety in the hardware sense I guess. All other sounds were captured from a C64C which was also used in the previous pack. Hopefully, a C64 beige will pop up in the ads before I start working on part 3.

Its an little collection of sound effects i have recorded (using an Zoom H2n) and edited (using OpenMPT) in my freetime.

Been awhile, but im back in the game :). I worked for quite some time on making samples that work on 16bit timers and so on, and i succesed (i think).
Each sample has an length that is an multiple of 16, so that it doesn't causes any undesired side effects (clicks). And they sound mostly decent (for me atleast), for there small size.
Anyway, its up to you for what you will use them.

I just wanted to share some amazing sources of soundfonts, dls banks, sfz's and other things that I have found on the internet

My favourite Soundfont is General User GS which is available at http://www.schristiancollins.com/generaluser.php and he also has sfz instruments.
