Title: MIDi: Arpeggio export
Post by: Alikrus on April 29, 2010, 03:14:18
Hello! :D

Why are Modplug Tracker not exporting most effects to the midi file?
For example, arpeggio-FX in midi i'm reachment with a commands for turn-on/off volume on the channels.02 B0 07 00 00 B1 07 7F
02 B1 07 00 00 B2 07 7F
02 B2 07 00 00 B0 07 7F
And this louding in midi as arpeggio. Working correctly on the mobile phone "Sony Erricson" too. I'm think, and more lot some.

Volume slide and portamento-up/down supporting too and i'm doing this in my midi tracker...

But why it's wonderful mod-FX don't exporting in midi with an "export lots fx too" feature in tracker?
Do is realy houping for this in near time?

Sorry for my poor english.
Thanks! :)

Edit: There are tons of related issues on the issue tracker, e.g. https://bugs.openmpt.org/view.php?id=535

"Because". I guess the MIDI export has to be rewritten completely at some point, because it's just pure crap. However, for the time being, you could also try 2midi (http://www.un4seen.com/2midi.html).
