Title: QWERTY automatic note off on release
Post by: yul on November 10, 2014, 16:17:52
Hello! Just discovered this fantastic piece of software. Anyone be so kind as to help me? I am auditioning instrument notes through the QWERTY keyboard although there is no auto note off once I release the key. Is there a way to make it work similar to a midi keyboard? Thanks!!!!

Sure, just go to the Sample options (http://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Setup/Samples#Note_Cut_Behaviour) to change the sample editor behaviour as you wish.

Any place where VSTis can be used (i.e. the instrument editor and the pattern editor and of course the plugin editor itself), note-off is already applied on key-up, so that works automatically.
