Title: Export as RAW
Post by: Saga Musix on December 02, 2007, 10:51:15
It's already possible to load RAW samples (a nice dialogue will apear to select 8/16 bit, (un)signed, mono/stereo). It would be nice to export samples as raw files too, i.e. without any header data.

Implemented in OpenMPT 1.17.02.53

Can you give me a reason why this would be nice ?

1) It's easy to do :P
2) Sometimes, there's special data stored as samples (i.e. a picture) that could be extracted with the orignal trackers which supported RAW samples.
3) Covering file types: I often store all sound data for my games in one big file without any headers.
4) compatiblity to old trackers which don't support WAV.
