There are a series of songs being worked at So On that are roughly inspired by one person's experience with "The machinist" which was a movie I guess.

the beginning is creepy yep, and the second half is a ballad-like, also sounds a bit like the whole song is playing backwards, i guess because of the high attack before every drum beat.

The voice at the beginning is a slowed down and pitch shifted cry of a baby.
I like it because says the emotion and there is not even a hint of word meaning.

that is a backwards guitar giving the the long attack which goes into a bass drum/crash hit.
