How do I make a sample go on a faster speed/tempo without changing the note? Not pitching it, but sort of like shrinking a sample instead of cutting it in pieces.
I don't know if ModPlugTracker has this capability, but I've remembered Acid had this option.

there is such a feature in the sample editor window, but it's nowhere near as good as that of acid.
Indeed. Nativelly, MODPlug Tracker doesn't support this. The shrink/expand in the sample editor does this, but I haven't found it to be quite handy.
You're better off using an external program and save as wav there.

i recommend wavelab for that...
you can easily set start and target bpm of the sample...
but ofcause it's not freeware ;)
