Hi. Since there are shortcuts for zoom in and zoom out, is there a reason why there is no shortcut for zoom to selection?
IMO it would be very useful (very fastworkflow) to have the option to zoom to selection and also zoom out to fullview via shortcuts.
Would be nice to hear what you think about it and if it's easy/hardto implement.

Yes, it is certainly doable and will be considered for the next version.

Shortcut has been added in the current test builds, which you may try at http://sagagames.de/stuff/mptrack.exe - or just wait until the next stable version is released (although I'd say that the current testing version is slightly more "stable" than the current official stable version :) ).
