Title: 1.18.00.00 Faulty changed-file flag with MPTM
Post by: Harbinger on February 20, 2010, 18:55:39
Full Version:
OpenMPT v1.18.00

Has the bug occured in previous versions? If yes, please specify version(s): No

Description of the bug: After saving an MPTM track with any Sequence other than 0 showing, the next time you open the file, and click on anything, esp. a tab or the play song icon, the file is automatically flagged as changed, and you'll be prompted to save when closing.

How often does it happen?: Always.

How to reproduce (step by step description):
Create an MPTM file with patterns, and more than 1 Sequence. Make sure the Sequence showing is 0. Save the file and close it.

Open it and press the Pattern tab or play song. Track is not flagged as being changed (as noted by the title bar). Good.

Now show Sequence other than 0 and save the file. Close it.

Open it again and press an icon like the Pattern tab or Play Song. The title bar shows the song has been altered when you haven't. If you close this track you'll be prompted if you wish to save the changes...

Please confirm that this is fixed in OpenMPT 1.18.02.00 (http://forum.openmpt.org/index.php?topic=3951.0). You may close this thread yourself then (edit first post and set the status in the topic title to S=C).
