Title: Queuing patterns?
Post by: Anonymous on December 05, 2005, 17:29:29
I remember reading somewhere that it is possible to queue up patterns in modplug for live "mixing" by holding CTRL or something and selecting the pattern. I don't know how to do it though.

How do you do it?

Ctrl+Click the pattern in the sequence will play that pattern after the current one is over. Whichever one it plays after that, I don't know :)

If holding ctrl and clicking on these is what you mean, it doesn't work... What version are you using? Is there anything in the options you have to fiddle with to make it work or what?[/img]

Yes that's the right place to click, and you shouldn't need to fiddle with options. What version are you using? :)
This works in 1.17RC2. And possibly in some older versions too, but it was temporarily broken just before 1.17RC2. Note that you can only queue one pattern at a time (i.e. set which pattern is due to play next).

Ah, broken just before RC2! I use RC1 so that may be the problem :P

I'll install RC2 right away. Thank you!
