Title: How to setup OpenMPT to control multiple VSTi with only one USB MIDI keyboard?
Post by: FreezeFlame(Alchemy) on December 20, 2016, 22:09:17
I want to create more unique synth sounds, so i would like to be able to control the multiple instances of Synth1 using only the input of an KEYSTATION 49 USB MIDI keyboard, so i can test the synth sounds much easier and faster, compared to always needing to enter notes on the pattern editor and hitting play.
Would any of you suggest on how i can implement this?

Pass MIDI to active plugin (https://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Setup/MIDI#Pass_MIDI_to_Active_Plugin) and then focus the plugin editor which you would like to control.

QuotePass MIDI to active plugin and then focus the plugin editor which you would like to control.
Can it work with more then one active at a time?

How would you imagine how that should work? And no, there is currently nothing like that, although there are similar requests which could more or less lead to something similar, like this one: https://bugs.openmpt.org/view.php?id=739
