Here is something that would be nice to see. It would be nice if, when pressing Control-N, instead of automatically choosing IT, Modplug Tracker brought up a dialog and allowed the user to choose the desired format (which, in my case, is not often IT anymore) (though I do not make new songs very often either).

Why don't you simply use File->New?

I'm strongly against such a dialog (templates or a default option would be the way to realize this), so I'm closing this one.

So, I guess then that solves that. That is an implementation that might take an awful long time to happen!
