Im posting this here since many users are Cubasers too.

Bit of a Rookie question but I'm still eluded:

If I want to change the tempo and/or time signature of a song midway through, How do I got about doing this? I'm assuming you have to set the change to a marker, but I'm not sure how.

Thanks

I don't know how you got the idea that most of the people are cubases too?

Indeed there's a chance that 2 or 3 are sequencers, but not sure if they're cubasers too. I don't know the anser :(

I suppose you are using cubase sx3.

First of all I suggest you learn how to use the help file which is very very useful ;)

Anyway, click on the little text reading "fixed" near the tempo-meter located on that window which pops up when you click F2. Now you have allowed the tempo to be changed through time instead of remaining constant. Now click ctr+t, a window should open. You will notice a straight blue line, a graph of tempo as a function of time. All you have to do is draw the tempo changes throughout the track just as you would with any other automation.

Good luck!
