There comes a time when we must leave our home
Break the ties, strike out on our own
Not that the feelings have faded
Not that my home will be forgotten

Love calls me on....

A simple song inspired by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and especially his album Living in the Past. Probably THE most influential album on my guitar chord selection.

And that is Pyewacket on my lap who appears on some recordings.

This is *heavily* filtered from the original recording on a crappy mono cassette deck. 1980

Nice play on the mandolin. Good singing style too. A bit of a Celtic atmosphere, this song.
Yep, Jethro Tull is a great band.

Thanks for the listen and comment Sam.

I think Tull is too often forgotten excepting the songs Aqualung and Locomotive Breath - Ian Anderson is a brilliant composer and multi-instrumentalist.

Thanks, Clones. I saved the tube. Great musicians. I'm glad Anderson didn't do the boring gimmick of playing on one leg.
