Chimera on a Life (part 3)
Words by Evan Harrington
There's no shot like the big shot;
No boom like the death boom.
Tomorrow will have starved a million.
Like a daemon, and who is that daemon?
Who lives at their expense?
Riding down the highway, on the way to work,
Inventing new ways to make pollution.
Line up on the freeway - Join the de-ath squad!
Line up on your freeway.
Make your contribution, let's go to the beach,
We're the death squad...
Sunny days they're full of life,
Bathing in their wealth.
Polluted minds like the rivers,
of the death squad.
Polluted minds ambulating,
down the narrow isles of history
With impressive balance,
one foot before the other;
So amazed... at time...
The rivering squads of steelmobiles
bathing in the mirrored rays from precision-angled panes,
Structured after God's own Metapolis, the Omnimetropolis!
With embryonder hopes of embryou.
Tomorrow the sun will beam down mightily grand
upon the fresh lawns majestic.
Elegantly bordered by pavement, on which teeny skates home.
From the ice cream jinglier...
wearing the gestures of pantomime.
Where is the truth serum?
Ambulating down the narrow isles of history,
history,
History!
Obfuscated in tunneled miles
Through people -
only people,
who are Earthlings...
Well this is funny and serious at the same time...
Evan is a good, well was, a good poet.
