Genre:
Jazz/Blues: Blues

Year: 2009

Album:
Improvs

Artist's description:
all Roland GR 20 guitar synth w/o vst effects

This is a serial improvisation in rather a bizarre order as that the lead instrument (violin-ish) was recorded first, organ 2nd, drums 3rd, cymbals 4th.

Inspiration:
having a few hours with my guitar....

Nice work, Clones.
Sometimes a bit overdone with the vibrato.

thanks for the listen and comment - the vibrato is a part of the voice - not sure if I can change that or not - I'd like to - you are right it gets to be too much.

Completely different than "despite it all". At first listen, this one appears more enjoyable to me. It sounds more playful and explorative. Also, the percussion adds a lot to the track. Until corrected, I'll assume it's 6/8. The sound is fine, no immediate reactions regarding whether some instrument fits or not (such as my reaction to the lead instrument of the other song). I'm listening with earphones at the moment,  so I don't know how much different it sounds through speakers, but if to point at anything, I'd focus on the volume of the lead. Not the sound of the instrument in itself, but simply the volume. How would it sound if the chords were slightly louder and the lead a bit lower? Anyway, I'd like to listen to the track with speakers before concluding about this.

Which aspects stand out when summing up? Primarily the creative lead, I think, and the chords certainly blend nicely. There were some chord details that I really liked, so no wonder I wouldn't mind a moderate chord volume boost.

Well, I don't like being bored so I compose and improvise in a wide variety if styles.

To be honest this is an exceedingly simple piece. It hardly moves off of E.

The main chord pattern is E bass with (Bb D)  (A C#) (G B) played on top of it. The break is simply G major, A major. The leads are on a E blues scale.

If its 6/8 great - I'm not sure - its just a blues drum pattern to me to be honest. I'm not one for rhythm.

I'd recommend
