Title: Default Empty Load
Post by: Harbinger on August 26, 2010, 21:43:16
I've found the need sometimes to be able to open ModPlug without the plugins, or color schemes, or settings i last left the application. It would be really helpful from a technical aspect to open ModPlug the way in its default state, without accessing certain data from the plugin cache or the user settings. Can you develop a command line option or modifier key when opening MPT so that it doesn't load the user files?

Well, there are the -noplugs and -nodls command line switches. As far as I can see such a feature wouldn't be too useful for the regular user (but rather to you for writing the manual and stuff like that), so I'd rather suggest to create a temporary portable setup of modplug which just consists of:
-mptrack.exe
-soundtouch_i16.dll
-unmo3.dll
-a new mptrack.ini with the following content:
[Paths]
UseAppDataDirectory=0

Excellent workaround! I'll close this out...
