Title: The VST Instruments topic
Post by: LPChip on February 01, 2006, 14:16:51
Before you do anything, note this: This topic is only about VST Instruments. There is a seperate topic about VST Effects!

Since MODPlug Tracker is able to use VST instruments, people get more into using them. There are sites like kvraudio.com that is dedicated to providing free vst's, as its for payed ones too.

The question is: Have you played with an interesting VST latelly and want to tell everyone about? Then this is the topic to do so.

Here's a little template you can copy to use for your reply.

Name of VST:
This VST does:
Quality:
License of this VST (and costs):
Link to VST or site:

explaination:
Name: this one is obvious i think...
What it does: You can enter a short description or function, like: strings, softsynth, soundfont player
Quality: How do you rate the soundquality of the output? (HQ, MQ, LQ, possible specs like 44khz, Mono, etc)
License: Freeware, shareware, buy, etc... (shareware = download for try, buy is only download after payment) and ofcource if there's a price, how much it costs!
Link to VST or site: Provide us with a link where you can download the vst. If its a commercial one you can point the download to their website with price info etc.

Name of VST: LightBag II

Name of VST: z3ta+
This VST does: Waveshaping Synth
Quality: Excellent, the best synth for trance I've used so far.  This synth is good for basses, leads, pads, strings and just about anything else you can think of.  A definite must have if you're into making trance.  I usually wouldn't post a review for a synth that's not free, but this one really caught my attention.  The technical specs are too numerous to list here, but if you're interested go to
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/306.html
It's sound quality is fantastic and CPU usage is quite reasonable considering the number of features that it has.  It also comes with over 1000 presets so there's something for everyone.

A nice one for techno-esque sounds, and fun to play with, has 2 32' to 2' octave oscillators, a filter with ADSR/cutoff/resonance, stereo delay and modulator. Personally, i like its glissando function. The synth itself (hardware) is often been called "The Russian Minimoog"

Name of VST:
AMVST Unifier

This VST does:
Great for slightly rough trancey monofonic sounds.

Quality:
From two days of intensive tracking, I would say that the quality is really good. It has a punch in the bass region I've lacked in similar synths. It doesen't eat as much cpu as some monster-synths I use either. Fully programmable and easy enough to get a grip of if you are somewhat familiar with analouge synths (or digital vsti:s).
The presets are not very interesting though. For me at least.

Name of VST: Casio VL-TONE Emulator
This VST does: Emulates Casio VL-1 mini synth/calculator
Quality: Great.  Classic 80's Casio toy-keyboard sound by emulation (software code is written to reproduce hardware of original).  Code for VSTi is based on hardware circuitry of the Casio VL-1*doesn't use .wav files : )*
License of this VST (and costs): Free
Link to VST or site: http://www.polyvalens.com/vl1/index.html

For anyone whose owned or played with a Casio SK-1, you know the charm of the synth sounds availabe on this toy.  While the VL-1 didn't come with a mic/sampling feature, it did have ASDR synthesis, allowing the user to create their own synth sounds using the keyboards advanced calculator features.    Great for retro-synth fans.  I've achieved really wonderful sounds using this VSTi with distortion/chorus/reverb.

Quality: Super high quality. Includes a 33GB sample library. Able to load just about any file you throw at it (except XIs and ITIs... ='( ).

This is the best sampler I've ever used. A massive range of inbuilt effects, super high quality sample library with beautiful sounds, great interface... It's got it all.

Note: to get this working with OpenMPT, it's necessary to use Xlutop Chainer (or similar) as a container, because MPT just doesn't like it. =D

I use FM8 for everything but percussion sounds:

Name of VST: FM8 (form Native Instruments)
This VST does: FM synthesis
Quality: 10/10 for me
License of this VST (and costs): Commercial ($229 / 199 €)
Link to VST or site: http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=fm7_us

It's THE Instrument for OMPT for me, you can make ANY almost any sound you desire with it, can make strings, leads, basses, effects...everything ^_^, even percussion sounds if you desire (for this only i use a other VSTi, the DR-008).
Got too many features to describe, the best ones that i can think of are:
- it is has a very powerful graphical envelope tools
- Has 6 oscillators (with many special waveforms), 1 filter, 1 limiter/noise generator, and 2 LFOs
- Modulation matrix and the FX matrix
- got a lot useful embed effect
- every MidiCC parameter can be configured (~1100)
- the "sounding", it beats any other synth in my option. ^_^

The percussion instrument i reccommend:

Name of VST: DR-008
This VST does: percussion instrument (drums, snares, etc.)
Quality: 10/10 for me
License of this VST (and costs): Commercial (75 €)
Link to VST or site: http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=21

Uses synthesis to create the sounds rather than using samples, this gives you a lot higher level for controling the sounds and quality than any "fixed" sample based program. You can modify every shape of your sound. (or create one from zero)

FOUND A NEW PLAYGROUND (http://rekkerd.org/hosted-plug-ins/)!!

I have been waiting and waiting for this place to come back online or at least be accessible to my computer. And i'm glad they did. Many of these VSTi's you may have already DL'd, but i haven't.

Especially visit the DSK download section. That's a gold mine in itself!! Now if these acoustic sounds are halfway decent i can finally put my symphonies together!

If you already knew about it, then ignore me! But i definitely wanna let the newbies know!! :P

This looks like an excellent way to shoehorn soundfonts into openMPT - at least I'm not aware of another - especially a free way - to use soundfonts.

so then one can use these gigs of free soundfonts

Certainly not in the way how it's done with samples. Always remember, VSTis get their note data through MIDI, and MIDI only transfers notes, not frequencies.

If I can get information on how other VSTi's and DAW's do it could this be considered for openMPT?

There seems to be several ways to do it - but the best is when the VSTi handles it natively.

Just wanted to point out that, for the first time in years, Synth1 (http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/softsynth/index.html#down) has been updated again! The new version (1.09) can still be used to play tunes made with for example version 1.06. Some outstanding new features are the polyphony, which has been doubled to 32 voices and a nice indication of which voices are playing or fading out and MIDI In automation.

EDIT: Also, I have found a huuuuge collection of Synth1 banks (http://www.mediafire.com/?khwmxlwh1wx)

Aaaand a bugfix (Synth1 1.10) has been released. Note that in the new version, you cannot browse patches from OpenMPT (or any other host) anymore by default, because it caused problems as it seems. You have to enable the "select program from host" option (registry write access necessary, so you might have to run OpenMPT as administrator) and reload the plugin to browse patches using OpenMPT's preset navgiator again.

Download link is no longer available, does any have another?

Here you go (http://www.mediafire.com/?sjr849abx0g84u5)... Be sure to edit the synth1.ini file to reflect your patch / synth1 paths. Then, place that file in %APPDATA%\Daichi\Synth1 and run Synth1. :)

QuoteThe idea is that a set of rovers move through a matrix of cells until they encounter a wall, another rover, or an obstacle. When a rover encounters a wall, it emits a midi note corresponding to the row and column, then reverses direction. When a rover encounters another rover, both rovers are rotated clockwise. When a rover encounters an obstacle, the effects of the obstacle are applied to the rover which could alter its position, its direction, both, or neither depending on the type of obstacle.

HG Fortune sort un nouveau synthé: Serenity

QuoteSerenity - what it is and what it is not: This synthesizer is aimed to create various choir and string pad sounds but it is not meant
to emulate this or that vintage string and/or choir machine. Though you might get sounds resembling quite nice the flavours of the old machines.
Serenity is more about heading towards the future not the past of the old machines. So don't get yourself restricted in pursuing emulations
of old machines instead make use of the possibilities offered by this fully fledged synthesizer with filters, LFO, various effects and
especially the Twin Etherify effect to create some more stunning flavours to expand your creativity. In addition the internal waveset has been
carefully selected to provide you with a wide range of string, choir and vocal waves plus some more complex padsounds. Most of these waves
have been processed widely from prior versions and several new waves have been added.

Free version:
*3 voices
*no internal patch management
*no MIDI Learn
*no velocity control on Attack / Decay of VCF / VCA EG
*no SF2 Load
*less patches (4 banks), but a hidden easter egg gimmick.

Dan303 a sorti un synthé: SK0.0.

QuoteA few years back I tried my hand at making my own custom VST instrument using Synthmaker. The result was this this noisy little synth 'SK0.0'.
I used the SK0.0 in a few SKatterBrain tracks (which is what it was originally made for) but that's about it.
I recently found the .dll file on my old hardrive but I'm not sure that I still have the actual Synthmaker project file. I posted a picture of it on Twitter and a few people asked my why I never got around to putting it online. I also recently got an email asking if it was possible to be shared so I thought I may as well put it on the website as a free download.
I'll be honest with you, there are quite a few bugs in it but I know that it works in Ableton, so I can't really see anyone having any problems with it in any other DAW or VST host.
Now, this was never a serious project and I never really planned on actually releasing it over the Internet but here it is.

This little synth is perfect for creating noisy lead patches. Let me know what you think. =]

I'm giving it away for free but if you want to donate then you can hit the donate button

Brain Control a sorti Tunefish v3.

QuoteTunefish is a very tiny virtual analog synthesizer. It is developed to fit into about 10kb of compressed machine code while still producing an audio quality that can compete with commercial synthesizers.

This VSTi, unlike the version of TF which is used in 64k intros of our group Brain Control is of course larger, mainly because it is based on the Qt framework for C++ to make the GUI possible.

TUNEFISH V3 FEATURES

*It's implemented as a VST instrument so can be used in your favorite sequencer.
*It uses a spline based oscillator that can by configured very dynamically.
*Additionally to normal sine, sawtooth, triangle and pulse waveforms, it can do anything that is possible with 6 points and step/linear/spline interpolation.
*The Noise generator can produce any frequency of noise with any bandwidth.
*Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass and Notch filters are availanle.
*4 ADSRs and 4 LFOs that can be linked to pretty much any importand knob using a modulation matrix.
*Supported effects are Flanger, Chorus, Distortion, Delay, Reverb, EQ and Formant.

Dominique Wurtz a sorti Charlatan.

QuoteCharlatan is a polyphonic, subtractive virtual analog (VA) software synthesizer plugin whose design focuses on sound quality and easy usability. The design philosophy was to provide a feature set just large enough to cover a wide range of sounds rather than an infinite number of parameters and modulation options cluttering the user interface and distracting from the creative process. That said, Charlatan's synthesis architecture is flexible enough to create all kinds of sounds, from conventional classic leads, basses and pads to weird blips and noises.

While making no compromises about sound quality, the algorithms have been optimized for efficient CPU usage making Charlatan well suited as a "bread and butter" synth even in projects with a large number of plugin instances.

CHARLATAN FEATURES

*2 oscillators with classic analog waveforms triangle, sawtooth and rectangle.
*Rectangle of oscillator 1 with pulse-width modulation (PWM).
*Triangle of oscillator 1 with slew rate modulation (morphing between triangle and sawtooth).
*Noise generator.
*Oscillator hard synchronization and ring modulation.
*2 ADSR envelope generators for amplitude, filter cutoff and pitch modulation.
*1 low-frequency oscillator (LFO) for filter cutoff and pitch modulation.
*3 nonlinear filter types emulating characteristics of classic hardware: 4-pole (24 db/oct) lowpass and bandpass, 2-pole (12 db/oct) lowpass.
*3 voice modes: Monophonic with retriggering, Monophonic Legato and 8-voice Polyphonic.
*Low CPU usage.
*100% coded in C++.

QuoteIt generates a grains' flow in which the way each grain follows the other depends on probabilistic parameters such as grain density (attack/sec), overlapping, synchronism and fade of each grain.

The spectrum generated by the synthesis could be harmonic, expanded or contracted according to the value of frequency exponent parameter; the result will be a sound texture that can change from noisy fragmented sounds, to metallic and tuneless sounds such as bells, finally to harmonic sounds similar to strings or choirs.

QuoteBEAT to MIDI allows for the correction of poorly captured or performed drum recordings after the recording session has taken place.

BEAT to MIDI uses sophisticated algorithms to identify each drum hit (or transient) in the time domain. Once this point is detected, MIDI data can be used to trigger replacement drum samples to alleviate poor quality recordings and/or timing errors.

BEAT TO MIDI FEATURES

*Detection of drum strikes and output of detections to a (defined) single MIDI note.
*Supervised Pattern Matching system to identify drum instruments.
*Detection of drum strikes and drum instruments with output of detections to appropriate (General MIDI defined) MIDI notes.

Bob Leggitt sort FreeST Mutiny

QuoteThe kind of sounds keyboardists used in the days before MIDI. The VSTi is not based on any particular synth model, but was created with an ethos of 1970s simplicity – everything on the front panel, no hidden parameters, what you see is what you get.

I wanted the synth to be musical and have a practical, useful sound set – presets which could go straight into recordings without much tweaking. I feel the presets are a big part of what this VSTi is about.

Bob Leggitt a sorti GutterSnipe.

QuoteThe GutterSnipe is the fifth virtual organ in the FreeST range. It has a new tone engine and voicing, specifically geared towards rougher, heavier sounds. The new design includes analogue waveform stereotyping, an unusual ten-drawbar tone system, powerful overdrive, built-in reverb, and dynamic crushing for that 'speaker cracking under the strain' feel. A newly tailored version of the Real Rotor speaker simulator is also built in.

The GutterSnipe allows more aggressive sounds than previous FreeST organs, due to its guitar amp-style pre-gain structure. But before I get into that I need to mention the DI/Cab button, because it's more than a simple Rotary on/off switch – it's a complete mode change.

Bob Leggitt sort Classic-H et Skanksta

QuoteThe Classic-H provides the essence of an old tonewheel organ within the VST environment. This VSTi captures the distinctive personality of a classic Hammond/Leslie combination, as well as simulating twin manual operation across a single MIDI keyboard, using a variable key-split function.
Thirty extremely cool presets provide a jumping-off point for almost every type of music, from the 'Full Throb' of old time soul to the screaming distortion of Deep Purple-type rock. It does gobble CPU, but it has the sounds, and it doesn't cost a penny.

The Skanksta is a ska-orientated VST organ, designed to produce a light and bright sound which will fit in well with quite a number of quirky and/or rhythmic music styles.
It's essentially a Vox Continental II with animation provided by a rotary speaker rather than a vibrato unit, and selectable key-splitting to simulate two manuals across a single MIDI keyboard. The key-splitting is particularly important for reggae-derived styles, where the left hand part will typically contrast sharply in tone with the right hand.

HG Fortune sort The Tiger

QuoteThe Tiger Synth is a highly versatile and flexible synthesizer being capable of complex multilayered sounds
with some specific extras from the Aux oscillators, as well as groovy rhythmic sounds you would hardly expect
from a synth, and, if you want, fairly typical synth sounds (brass, bass, strings PPG, DX, lead etc.).

There are a lot of modulation options, and, even more there is an easy way to integrate 'hardwired' controllers
like joysticks, touchpads or ribbons via the 4 UCC knobs (User assignable MIDI CC) which can be selected as mod sources
too. Alongside with Aftertouch, Velocity and Modwheel you have many options for realtime interaction at performing live

Two 16 step Rhythmic Pattern Gators (RPG) and a 16 Step Modulator can turn pads into complex rhythmic sounds. While two
Aux oscillators can add some additional spacey sounds (a little like with Altair 4), or, can be used as mod source for
a wide range of Amplitude Modulation. Even more both usages are mixable.
There is a lot under the hood of The Tiger to enhance Your creativity!

A free version is available. It has these limitations: 3 voices, no Lazy, 256 patches, SF2 load only for Osc 2 section B.

MaxSynths sort Latte Free

QuoteLatte is inspired by the old synthesizers from the past and is able to produce powerful synth sounds, fat basses, expressive leads, crazy sounds and more. Despite the synth layout looks very simple the modulation options allows to shape the sound in a lot of different ways. Limitations: the only restriction is the polyphony which is limited to 4 voices (16 in the full version). Other than that you can use it without any restriction.

Features:
*2 Oscillators with custom Saw and Pulse waveforms and noise generator (White and Pink noise).
*12dB Low Pass/High Pass state variable filter.

H.G. Fortune a sorti GhostMachine WoF Edition 2012

QuoteAs May 6th is on a sunday this year it is a good day for a surprise in reconnecting to the past some way. The circle of the spiral crosses the point where it all began: HGFortune's very 1st public VSTi 'Wheel of Fortune' or WoF! In reminiscense to this after about 9 years here is a worthy successor GhostMachine WoF Edition 2012 which is an offspring of the bigger project GhostMachine.

GhostMachine WoF Edition 2012 ties some links to it's predecessor in having a Bass & HiSq part, a scale based algorithmic composing system, a pattern based sequencer with 2 x 8 steps instead of 4 and with the note pattern being editable. And what is most important it does have that very special vivid groovy feel back. And, yes, as of May 6th GhostMachine WoF Edition 2012 is free!

Fsynthz sort Prognum

QuotePrognum is suited for the two purposes:

Indicating current MIDI program IN BIG NUMBERS (both the 1-128 value and grouped by 8).

Browsing MIDI programs of a subsequent synth up and down using one single button, assignable to any MIDI controller (examples are: sustain pedal #64, portamento switch #65). Short hit on the button is one program up, long hit (>1 sec) - one down.

Two synths (two channels) may me managed with one instance of Prognum.
The second processing tract (shown in red numbers) features responsibility to the program-changing button on all channels - while sending the resulting MIDI program change message to the chosen (destination) channel only. So the user does not have to switch the MIDI keyboard to the second MIDI channel to send a program change to the second synth (e.g. a groovebox).

Oleg Mikheev aka GrayWolf sort BlueArp

QuoteBlueArp is to be used as a VST instrument, but it doesn't generate any sound itself, it generated MIDI messages, so it should be connected to another synth, hardware of software.
To connect it to another VST Synth, set BlueArp's MIDI output port to the same number as the VST Synth's MIDI input port (use any port not occupied by real MIDI equipment).
BlueArp will work only when the sequencer is running (PLAY pressed). When stopped, it will only pass the notes thru.

Title: VSTi: sampler
Post by: .^o on October 10, 2012, 09:44:00
CWI Technology sort TX16Wx 2.0 béta

QuoteAfter months of development and closed testing, I am proud to present the long awaited public beta of TX16Wx version 2.0, now available on the new website http://www.tx16wx.com/.

The worlds greatest sampler now comes with a more user friendly, re-sizable GUI, built for drag and drop operation, as well as full Undo/Redo support for easy editing. Tool tips and context-sensitive help now make it easier than ever to quickly get up to speed with the instrument. There is now also a built-in file browser with drag and drop loading and improved bookmark handling.

The sound engine has also added three new step modulators as well as new modulation sources and destinations, making the sound tweaking possibilities greater than ever. New import formats, such as Ogg vorbis and SFZ files, as well as improved Soundfont 2 support makes a large set of pre-existing material available to the instrument.

H.G. Fortune passe en gratuit ProtoPlasm TSM Pro

QuoteOne of the special features of this synthesizer is a very easy to handle modulation-system with 8 LFO/S&H-outputs plus Transition system and Super-Modulation. There are even patternlike LFO-waveforms as modsources so You can do quite amazing and complex modulations with only very few settings. Basically this synthesizer is best suited for highly vivid pads and textures but you can also do standard synth sounds like bass, leads etc. More than 1100 patches (still patchcompatible to prior versions) included.

Partikkel Audio a sorti Hadron

QuoteThe Hadron plugin is your ultimate granular synthesis tool. In fact it is such a complete implementation of granular synthesis we've renamed the technique to particle synthesis. The plugin is of course free and open source.

For your convenience, we've made a preset system allowing you to quickly get started making music with it. All presets have selected "expression controls" to allow creativity and flexibility, and you can morph between presets for ultimate creativity. The plugin comes with a basic set of presets, and you can buy additional preset packs to expand your sonic palette. This kind of presets is called "states" in Hadron.

Hadron can be used as a synthesizer or an audio effect. It can also seamlessly morph between different sound processing methods, so you can make the plugin gradually change from synthesizer to audio processing mode. This is all part of the state morphing system, accessible via the big 2D joystick control.

You can also use live sampling as a sound source for manipulation with Hadron, as well as audio files and live audio input.

Xen-Arts has released XenFont

QuoteXenFont is a two oscillator, hybrid SF2 SoundFont & Subtractive Synthesis VSTi that features full-controller MIDI Pitch Microtuning using the MTS (MIDI Tuning Standard) format, where any MIDI Note Number can be freely microtuned to any desired pitch across the MIDI range, enabling computer musicians and composers to explore the vast expressive possibilities of composing music with alternative intonation systems.

XenFont is a microtonal sound-designer's SF2 sample-based synthesizer, with a carefully designed ergonomic workflow for quickly creating powerful sounding and musical useful timbres. The instrument enables users to load their own SF2 SoundFont files and thereby any special timbres required of the music at hand, from classical acoustic instruments, to synthesized ones. Routing the SF2 SoundFont Oscillators through the internal synthesis functions of the VSTi, provides a way to radically transform the original sounds and create new synthesized timbres.

I just learned today that HG Fortune has passed away (http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=424340) a few months ago. I didn't use his plugins very often, but they are all very inspiring and out-of-this-world for pads, weird noises and other sounds.

Name of VST: C700
This VST does: Emulates the SPC700 chip used by the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It plays back up to 8 channels of sample-based instruments, and includes settings for delay (echo), ADSR, filters and vibrato speed/depth. The plugin can import SPC music files from most Super NES games to use their instruments and samples, export and import the individual samples in BRR format, and import other audio formats to use as samples (AIF and SD2 on Mac, WAV on Mac or Windows). After loading samples into memory, you can check out the waveforms, adjust loop points, change the sample rate and set the root key.
Quality: With the right settings, it replicates the Super NES hardware's sound near-perfectly for all intents and purposes. By default, the engine is designed to stay accurate to the Super NES's limitations, and will warn you if the amount of memory being used exceeds the system's capacity. This can be changed to a relaxed engine that allows for up to 16 channels at once, and will not limit the sample memory.

After the pretty bad (because it was merely sampled from some of the most popular patches) "Anthology 1987" recreation of the Roland D-50, Roland has finally done what I hoped for years they would do: A full emulation of the classic Roland D-50 (https://www.rolandcloud.com/catalog/legendary/d-50-linear-synthesizer)!
The only problem I have with it right now is that it's subscription-based, so you cannot buy the plugin, you have to rent it monthly.
(the UI also does not work in the current stable OpenMPT version but that will be addressed in an update this weekend.)

Damn, that D-50 VST looks neat, too bad the licensing model is totally offputting, it's even worse than what Korg does with its Legacy Collection (a really amazing set of instruments otherwise), tying every installation to particular computer, by using unique registration keys, computed off of some seed value, which in turn seems to be derived from current PC configuration (aka no easy migration between machines, or even probems after changing the current one's config)
Title: Re: The VST Instruments topic
Post by: Saga Musix on October 19, 2017, 21:56:41
Actually they promised that you would be able to keep one of the plugins for every year of subscription, so after one year of subscribing you could e.g. keep the D-50, which I think is actually a fair pricing model compared to most other subscription stuff. However,  the software that is supposed to manage your licenses is really crappy at the moment and I wonder if it will stay that way.

That said, there is now the Roland D-05, which is a hardware boutique synthesizer recreation of the D-50. Available for a rather reasonable price, too, but sadly it's of course not multitimbral.

Bringing up the topic of Roland's D-50 plugin (and others) again - it seems like they finally have introduced a possibility to purchase single plugins from their collection without having to pay a monthly fee. They have also restructured their subscription model to have some cheaper tier which include less plugins. Slowly this is starting to make sense.

How about VCV rack as a vst:
https://github.com/bsp2/VeeSeeVSTRack#downloads
I am just about to try it out, I am downloading both the 64bit and 32bit, I wont post this until I see it working in modplug.
I will take some screenshots if it works and put them here.

VCV rack is an open source rack with literal tons of modules for you to hook to each other in ways you cant normally do with some vsts, it is meant to simulate the racks people build with real life hardware.

this is an unofficial port and isnt made by the makers of vcv rack, but I think it looks promising.

READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING : Ok after testing I found that it doesnt open in my 32bit ompt at all and crashes it, and it loads in my 64bit ompt but there is no interface and nothing loads.
I think I will still post this, since it is a vst and a vsti, even if it doesnt work in ompt yet, maybe it will in the future which would be very nice.
If the admins want to take this entry down, since it doesnt actually work, I fully understand, but if not then at least this is here for if anyone else wants to try it out in other software or for future reference if one day we can get it working in ompt. I wouldnt be surprised if it never works in ompt, it might not even be possible.

Please don't use this thread for reporting incompatibilities with plugins; I do not monitor this thread and just saw your post randomly.

Please report this problem to IK Multimedia. From your screenshot it looks like they are doing something non-standard here (the plugin graphics appear to be "outside" of the window that is provided to the plugin), so it's up to them to make sure their non-standard approach to plugin GUIs works with all DAWs. All OpenMPT can do is telling the plugin "please use this window to draw your GUI into", and it has no control over the plugin's behaviour beyond that.
