i think mod plug should try to come closer to the DAWs available.
using the present interface it it very tricky to enter notes in the meter.
styles should be included in the mp tracker.
I know there was a version (not official) with in-line recording, but this was not made by OpenMpt developers and I don't think the developer ever submitted the source so it could be included in the future versions of modplug. And I can't find the link to the file either.
