One only has the possibility to set the TEMPO to a Maximum of 255bpm. Since some of use the 'Modern ( Accurate ) Tempo' in the song properties, 255 is not always enough.
Request to be able to set the amount of bpm to a higher value..
As a workaround, double the length of your bars, but treat them as they were before. :S That is, make your semiquavers quavers, your quavers crotchets, your crotchets minims, and your minims semibreves. If that makes sense... (Make your eighth notes quarter notes, your quarter notes half notes, your half notes full notes.)
Note that you can set initial tempo to 512. In the pattern editor #xx won't work with Txx, but by using T1x (increase tempo with 1-15) or T0x (decrease tempo) you can change it outside of the interval 32-255 (T20-TFF).

You mean Halve the length of my bars ;). Since it needs to be faster not slower. Unfortunately it's a bit of a problem halving it since it wrecks certain breaks.
I think he means double "rows per measure" (4->8) and "rows per beat" (16->32) in the song properties. That's twice as fast. Those values can be set insanely high if needed.

No, thats twice as slow. In order to make something faster, you actually need to pass as little lines in a fixed time. The more lines you need to go through, the slower it becomes.
With "Modern (Accurate)" tempo mode selected; increase the "rows/beat" value and you won't need to set the speed setting above 255 bpm ever.
4 rows per beat at 255 bpm gives 255*4=1020 rows per minute.
64 rows per beat at 255 bpm gives 255*64=16320 rows per minute, which is the same as 16320/4=4080 bpm at 4 rows per beat. So yes, increasing rows/beat will make your rows go faster. If you need to go faster than that, you can.

I think this is a good enough work around. Our programmers have enough requests on their hands. We can always re-open if it need be.
