As the topic says, how old is everyone? I notice a lot of people on this forum are pretty young, and this question has been asked before, but I think that was the old forums with the old people, now we have new people.
I'm 27

This indeed was a topic on the pre-crash forum. So being rather a dissonant :
I'm 61
Wow, seems like only Chip has been tracking longer than me. One thing I've noticed (and you other regulars have too im sure) is that people start tracking, and even if they rock, they just give up. I remember some really talented people that tracked for years, then just dissapeared (and that includes georg). I don't get why they give up and they are so good. They must be better at other things. On the other hand, I just wont give up, no matter how many bad reviews I get. That's a promise 8)

Tracking for 8 years :D

tracking about roughly 12 years on and off, pretty much since tracking came into existance.
I've been creating compositions for about 14 years and playing instruments about 26 years.

Funny you say that, back when I was 25 (hard for this old timer to remember  ) I was one of the oldest people here. It was all teens and pre-teens back then it seemed like

doing tunes for 11 years now, tracking for 8 years
I'm nineteen. I've been playing my violin for about seven years, and have been tracking for about five.
So this is just about the only forum I visit on which I'm one of the younger members - I'm still 21.
I'm 20 (since January 24th), and have been tracking since 2001. I did not have any real knowledge of music before that. I had been playing fiddle and flute in school, though wasn't very good at either of them.
I sang in the chorus in school, though, which I think was what had me get interested in making music myself (and of course having friends and a brother that composed music too).
 29 going on 30 in april this year! :D
Been tracking since my first PC back in '89 (Intel 80386SX/25mhz)

How does it feel to be hanging out with a bunch of old geezers like us?
Man, I can't even remember when I was 14.
26 years; Mostly listening to trackers, just some very basic mixes/cuts and 1 test tracker I still need a melody for.
Quote from: "Squirrel Havoc"Man, I can't even remember when I was 14.
God, I have almost too clear memories of being 14 and younger.
I cant remember much about the years between then and now though (as I posted earlier, I'm 20, but the last thing I remember clearly is turning 18. :).
18, 2 years of tracking, and all the cool people seem to be 21 and above :)
Quote from: "Pesho_Zmiata"..., and all the cool people seem to be 21 and above :)
:o You usually shouldn't say something like that. Cus that means that everyone that is 20 or less automatically is uncool.
But then again, you state that you're uncool too. I guess its fair to say this then... For those that don't, I don't think you are uncool! :P
People that post rubbish (like spambots), they are uncool.
EDIT: Bytheway, Did anyone noticed I joined this board before I was born? :o :D Now thats an archievement ey?

Hmm, January 1970... before they invented the 8086 and the internet
It was the day on which the almighty god UNIX created heaven and earth and impenetrable shell scripts.

Then Satan took a core dump on the world, and the mighty Zues hacked into computers from all across the land.....
Then the light and the darkness merged, and brought forth Nintendo, PCs, and Macs, and it was good.
Then A mighty roar came from the south, it was the God of innovation, whom we call Amiga. He brought color and digitized sound to the world of text, and much joy was had by all.....as long as your were around back then :)
Then this Offtopic topic went totally offtopic
I'm 27 :)
