Title: Wave Convert dialog
Post by: Sam_Zen on February 06, 2008, 01:39:26
I wondered :
Did anyone ever used the Limit options of Kbytes and/or seconds ?
And if so, for what reason ?

They cut the song after x amount of bytes/seconds has been written. Its perfectly for looped songs because then you can make a render that loops x times until x seconds or x bytes has been written.

I see your point. But I have my doubts about the practical realization. Certainly if one needs perfection.
The variables in Kbytes and seconds are far too rough to get a good cue point for a loop.

And I just noticed that both 'Limit file size' and 'Limit song length' can be enabled simultaneously,
together with the function 'Play entire song' being enabled as well.
This creates a very complex situation. Just imagine all the combinations possible.
