« on: June 29, 2018, 16:26:39 »
I've made a keygen song back in November of 2017:

I'm proud of how it sounds.

What's keygen? I have mixed opinions, it seems to be well done but it's a rather "unfamiliar" genre and not a style of music I'm fond of. Personal biases aside it's neat!
44.1 vs. 48khz sampling rate

Keygen is basically chiptune music made in trackers.

Also, thanks.

Keygen refers to "specific tools" to, uhm, generate serials for commercial software, without buying the software (for example, to transform a trial or demo version into the full version). They exist to this day, but their numbers have been rapidly declining, as more and more software uses a check on the server-side or hardware dongles. Keygens were popular around the 2000s.
A lot of them included well-composed chiptune music that plays when the keygen tool is run.

Your song is quite neat, I like it  :)
