not actually... more midi -> fasttracker.

I've written an application that converts midi to XM as accurately as possible (it servers my needs ntl)
I use this small application to convert my compositions on my xp-80 to XM/modplug (then I rearrange it) but it's also usable on other midi's

(a fair warning: don't use too complex midi's... as I said.. I use it on my own compositions) but it's capable to convert other midi's

Usage: (I've included a sample midi)
go to your directory where you've unpacking it....
run: amvc
type: atomicon.mid (or atomicon.. i strip the extension)

a fresh xm is made, load in into modplug... apply samples/VSTi (please convert the song to IT first... with the XM settings on => hell)

You can download it here to try.

please remember this is highly experimental! (for me it gets the job done)

"yes.. I think in this case it was wishful thinking: MPT is makng my life hard so it must be wrong" - Rewbs

i wouldn't say better... I suppose for some more convenient. this thing produces 256-rows XM files and tries to rearrange the chords on rows.
