[Trance] Untitled- Suggestions Welcome! (mp3)
« on: February 12, 2006, 20:53:54 »
Hey everyone!  Here's a new tune from me, tvdude.  [Trance] Untitled- Suggestions Welcome! (mp3)  This is a trance piece, made with all synths, except the percussion.  I don't have a name for it, so please email me from the site, or leave a message here if it gives you an image and would like to share it.  I don't know how to put a direct link to the song, but you can find it at my music page: http://www.7161.com/~tvdude  If this site gives you problems or spam, please let me know.  Also, please give me some feedback, good or bad, as I have had very few comments from my previous submission.  Everything on my site was made in Modplug Tracker, and again, I thank everyone involved in Modplug (including the beta testers :-) ) for opening a world of music to me that I would not have otherwise been able to access;  Your generosity in providing free music creation software is truely selfless, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I hope you enjoy the song, and in the least ,appreciate the effort of making it.

Sorry!  The link had a period in it.   It has been corrected.  It should work now.

I'm not that much into Trance, but the use of stereo is nice anyway. And I always appreciate it, if someone has put some work in making a smooth end of a song, instead of stereotype fade-out, or a sloppy cut-off.

The link to your track could have been :

I still find it a pity that only a small number of authors make the effort to fill in the mp3-tag with some info. Especially with a filename like this one.

quite gentle tune for sunshine days... :)

but why asking others for a name?
i know that every music scene has indeed stereotypes for tracknames (and anybody into this style can easly recognize insiders or aliens just by reading them), but why fulfilling these clich?s at all...

just name the track after the pictures you had in mind while tracking it (of course i don't mean "desktop" or "pattern editor" and alike, yeah 8) )

I asked others for their ideas for a name out of curiousity for what other people see in what I write.  I'm curious to hear about some of the imagery people see; it may be something completely different than what I had in mind when I wrote it.  I do have some names kicking around for the song, but I'm open to suggestions.
