Given the new functionality in OpenMPT that allows us to now import and export colour schemes, I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread letting people exchange colour schemes.

Format for posts:

1. Link to the colour scheme

2. A screenshot (thumbnailed) of the colour scheme, if you can. Keep the images nice and small, though.

3. A short description, if you so desire.

My current colour scheme. Light, simple, and unobtrusive. I've been using this colour scheme for well over a year now.

Isn't that like a standard MPT scheme?

bvanoudtshoorn

Yes, but ever-so-slightly tweaked. :) The row colours are different, and the colours have been toned down slightly.

A light scheme based on the Tango colour scheme. Unobtrusive.

A dark scheme based on the Tango colour scheme. Matches my dark Geany colour scheme.

I have uploaded a few (as mentioned in the release thread) to my OpenMPT Wiki:

Don't worry, the text is German but I guess you will find out where to download the stuff easily. :)
My own scheme, just like barry's, is a slightly modified MPT scheme - I just made the VU meters a bit darker.

Other themes (besides the current default schemes) that I've added are the classic FT2 preset "Why Colors?", the default IT colours "Camouflage" and ST3's "Gold" theme. The milky theme has mostly been made by joule.

As you can see on the screenshots in my wiki, the channel separator colours will also be exchangable in the next version.

EDIT: barry, if you don't mind, I would like to put those Tango themes on my wiki. :)

Well, along this year, I made some color presets, few are for looking combinations of colors, you
probably found better ones or easy on the eyes. Try turn on/off 'Use small font' and/or 'Enable effect highlighting' to get a better 'style' to fit as you want. Comment what do you think.  ;D (hahaha, i don't know what can I say  ::))

Thanks alot. I'll probrably stick to MPT in the end but nice to do some variations sometimes.

[I've uploaded this using my Dropbox Win10 app, so I'm not sure how this'll work for you.]

Chromatic v2. The second, polished version of the old Chromatic scheme.

Here's v1 if you'd like it.

I don't know what I'm doing, but somehow I'm good at it. ~mp64

Intended to be easy on the eyes but maybe I've missed. :) Also has cool volume meter colors.

Nice! ;)
Maybe it's finally time to add some of those to the official OpenMPT package...

Most of the colour schemes found in this thread are now available right from the Display configuration dialog. :)

Contributing with my favorite color schemes:

Also Saga, the foreground color shouldn't be shared with effect column color, whenever the effect isn't panning, pitch or global, this keeps preventing me from creating my Ultimate Color Scheme ;)
